MUQADDIMAH

This blog is an attempt to share knowledge and experience that we  gain throughout this semester in relation to the Islamization of knowledge and the focus is on the Islamization of one of the linguistic studies we have chosen which is Discourse Analysis. We have chosen Discourse Analysis as the theme because Discourse Analysis deals with what we encounter everyday in spoken and written form. Hence, we try our best to incorporate Islamic Perspective as much as we could in this blog.

This blog contains information that we learn in classes and the assignments given. In addition to that, reflection of every lesson will be added. In order to spread the notion of Islamization of Knowledge, this blog has been created so that this little knowledge can be spread to others. This blog circulates around the theme of Islamization of Knowledge; and the main emphasis will be given to the Islamization of Discourse Analysis.

Knowledge is vast and people can gain knowledge easily through many different sources. Knowledge that we gain can be beneficial to us and the society, but it also can be detrimental if we used it for the wrong purpose. In order to make sure that the knowledge is beneficial to us and the society, Islamization of Knowledge is very vital so that the knowledge will be accordance to the Islamic principles, thus lead the society to the right path which is to the redha of Allah s.w.t. We hope this blog will be helpful for us as well as the readers; and Insya Allah we will apply the knowledge in our daily life.
